In early Victorian-era, a young girl looses everything she once held dear to a selfish act performed by a high-ranked company in Britain. Before entering through death's door, she strikes a deal with a demon; her soul, in exchange for the monster's aid. Dawn Aleistor is now the head of the Aleistor Trade Corporation, handling all business affairs as well as secret underground work of London's East End for '' The Queen's Watchdog '' and the Queen of England herself. Through out her horrendous tragedies, ' vengeance ' is not what she aims for. The word ' revenge ' disgusts Dawn, as she see's the term to be nothing more than people glorifying over the truth. Sadism and cruelty stain the was-once pure and innocent heart of Dawn - just as the demon likes it's dinner to be..
