Makochi is nothing compared to the big city she grew up in. The culture is different, expectations, the people. Different, but in a good way. She builds herself from the ground up, each block an ever-growing shield around herself. As the community and Bofurin accept her with open arms, as Umemiya's feelings blossom and Ryokai starts to slip up-it really begs the question, what is she running from?
