Years after losing their family's Wisconsin dairy farm, brothers Harold and Roy Olson embark to Alaska, the Last Frontier, on a journey to strike gold and buy the farm back from the bank. After arriving in Gold Rush-era Nome, the idealist Harold and realist Roy fall into a life of crime to gain an advantage against the overwhelming odds of the Gold Rush. The brothers fall in with an old drunk and depressed gunslinger, a rugged Russian-American outdoorsman, and three Inuit siblings caught in the changing world.

** I do plan on editing and adding (smut) to this story this summer 2026 :) Katherine Reed grew up in the west in a small, close knit town in the height of the wild west with her family, until a series of tragedies strike, leaving her the only one of her small family alive. Jackson Walsh is a highly decorated U.S. Marshall who has brought down multiple gangs of outlaws in the wild west. When he is sent to Emerald Valley, he expects to only find gunfire, but what he isn't expecting, is to find love, especially after the brutal loss of his wife and unborn child. Can Kate and Jackson overcome unforeseen obstacles and bullets to find their happy ever after? TRIGGER WARNING: due to the time frame in which the story is set, there are topics of slavery, violence, sexual assault, and hate crimes/organizations.
