Shadow of the Innocent

Cathrine lives in a world where people are born in two ways. One, into normalcy and structure, like her and most of her empire, they are born as ordinary citizens. Second, people born out of sin and hatred. These people are born with flairs, powers unique to the individual. They are killed at a young age immediately and efficiently by the empire's military force, but those who live are hunted and seen as spawns of the devil. After an attack, Cathrine's world is set on fire. She must decide between love and loyalty, family and friends. One thing is positive, Cathrine is a fighter, and she is determined to find out what happened the day everything changed.
