It's 2016, Taylor's reputation is on a downfall, but Billie's is on a rise. Billie Ardelle is an up and coming singer with her new single 'Red Wine Supernova' having just been released, and the whole world was in love. It perfectly enraptured what a 'lesbian' song would sound like, said no one ever. It was all in her imagination. Until it wasn't. One fateful afternoon, three days before The Met Gala was supposed to be held, she received an unexpected invite from the officials who were hosting this event. Does she get the courage to talk to her idol at this said event, or does she lurk in the shadows of everyone else, pretending she doesn't exist, just like all the times before?
