Eugene was a 17-year-old boy who was walking home from school when he was hit by a truck and killed. To his shock, Eugene saw himself, but he was in the body of a character from his favorite novel, Light of Sanguine. He looked down at his body in disbelief, realizing that he was now a canon fodder. Not only is he a canon fodder but a scum as that.
