In a realm where magic intertwines with destiny, a young woman known only as the Silver Guard serves Emperor Belos with unwavering loyalty. Raised within the Emperor's Coven since childhood, she is a masked enigma, her face unseen by all but Belos himself. A formidable warrior, the Silver Guard executes every order without question, a symbol of the Coven's absolute power.
This story begins with the Silver Guard resting in her quarters, her solitude broken by a Coven guard bearing a summons from the Emperor. Belos has a new mission for his most trusted agent: to capture Eda the Owl Lady and bring her to justice. The Owl Lady, a notorious rebel, has long evaded the Coven's grasp. The Silver Guard, ever obedient, accepts the task.
Her pursuit of Eda leads her into the path of a young witch, Eda's student. This unexpected encounter sparks a conflict within the Silver Guard, forcing her to confront the only life she's ever known. As she navigates the complexities of her mission, the Silver Guard begins to question the very foundations of her loyalty, and the true meaning of the Emperor's will.
