Nandini, a twenty one year old girl, hailed from a loving and caring family, despite their poor background. Obligated by her father's promise to the grandfather of Rathore family, prominent ruling family of Rajasthan, Nandini was wedded off to the heir of the family, Manik Singh Rathore.

Despite, Nandini's sweet nature and Manik's whole acceptance of her as his wife, the rest of the Rathore's, especially her mother in law refused to accept the poor girl as the member of their family, much to the oblivion of Manik.
