Full Ride

"I got a full ride scholarship to UMICH," He just gave me a blank stare, as if he didn't believe me. "I leave in a month,"

And he left. They always leave, no matter how hard you try.

Thirteen year old Connor Bennet had nothing in his life sorted out. The only thing he wanted was to leave England behind, and he didn't care where he ended up.

When he puts in an application to UMICH, he didn't expect to be accepted, he was only a kid, but when the letter had 'Your place has been granted," in bold letters, he finally realised he had a place in life, and he was slowly getting a family too.

Being a kid in a place of older people is hard, especially when you're the only teenager on campus.

The boys all took him in as their own, understanding how alone he was in the world. He joins the soccer team for the school, and things slowly start to fall into place for him.

That was until they found out why he was so adminant on moving across the globe.
