Jay, The Lightining Ninja.
He's the funny one, the comic relief. He's there to save the day whilst freaking out in a way that somehow calms you down because of the sheer hilariousness of his demeanour .
For no apparent reason, his family, the people he trusts the most start treating him like he's less than human. Their cruel treatment drives him away and he leaves, surely anything is better than staying with them.
Let's just say that when the Ninja see him again, He's not the comic relief anymore.

(May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no. I wish it all away
After the events of skybound, jay is having trouble dealing with what happened. He is depressed and has a breakdown. With his friend's help he may be able to get through it all. Or will a villain from the past come back to destroy jay and force him to relive his trauma. I know this is a really lousy summery but the story is pretty good so give it a read.
