Mature
Erik Destler, or better known as The Phantom of the Opera, is a lonely person or as he calls himself "an unlovable monster". He escaped from his mother one night before she sold him to the Persian Circus.

But what can he know... Some years later an abused and tortured girl escapes from her home, beaten by her father for her love to music, she only finds shelter in the Palais Garnier in Paris. She hides herself from the world in the deepest corners of the Opera House.

But what will happen when Erik and the girl meet? An unforgettable love story?

AUTHORS NOTE:
This contents a bit of mature content and I used my references from both the movie and the book
(I prefer the book, but anyways...)

This story has a few changes, but that's what makes the story interesting! Doesn't it?!

One event changed everything in Christine Daae's life. Erik Destlar fell in love with her and decided to take her to live with him. Will she ever love him back? Modern day, E/C... COMPLETED ___________________________________________________________ I do NOT claim the original work of Gaston Leroux "The Phantom of the Opera." I also do NOT condone things discussed, written, or otherwise made known through my work such as stalking, kidnapping, marrying kidnappers/stalkers, or the like. My only wish is to make Leroux's book accessible to modern readers with a few plot twists here and there. I can only hope I have done his acclaimed work justice with my retelling.
