Eight years after the events of the repository, Sebastian Sallow's seemingly quiet life as a Dark-Arts professor is turned upside-down when his former friend-Juliette Fontaine-returns to Hogwarts for reasons unknown. In a remarkable coincidence, the professor and the curse-breaker soon discover a new, young Ancient Magic wielder among the professor's own students.
