2100, fifty years after the biggest pandemic which killed the half of Mankind, a young man was born after the virus appeared. He is a part of the rare humans who weren't infected and mutated. When the sky almost always produces noxious and grayish ashes instead of acid rain, and the land is only poisonous and blackened flora, how can you survive ? Esteban needs to travel every day outside his town, to find the rare places where the ground is not infected, to feed his family while risking his life by fighting the scary Enemy. Who is not so different from us, except maybe its long, tapered tongue, and its imposing animal build... How to survive in this world which mankind left wither away... ? Hello everyone ! Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
