As if the overwhelming fame of being a public figure didn't have enough drawbacks as it was, having a disconcertingly capable, competent James Potter as a bodyguard was never quite on the list of Regulus' problems.
Though the fact that Potter was skilled at his assigned task didn't retract the factor that he was a dickhead; the dickhead who'd been - in Regulus' eyes - partially responsible for the wall between him and his brother.
Regulus would've scoffed in your face had you told him he'd resign himself to the fact that Potter wasn't that bad after all.
And yet, fate had a funny way of working. Or does it?
