The story of RWBY is one filled to the brim with tosses and turns. So, a group of my friends and myself decided to do a roleplay where we tossed characters we made into the main role in the story. Eventually, we got rather attached and I decided to write a not-so-short story about it. I believe it has some room to grow, and I don't want it to just burn a hole into my hard drive, so I'm putting it here.

Granted, I know the reputation most RWBY fanfiction has, especially when it comes to self-inserts. But this one tries to focus on characters and development as opposed to "BlOnDe WiTh BoObIeS" like many others.

Also: I know that team NDGO is already a thing in RWBY, but it's the only one we could find that fits with our four characters.

When I wrote it, I gave the three main characters different names than their canon names since they acted so differently than they do in the games. For publishing, though, I thought the story might have more appeal if it were a reader insert with the canon characters' names used. So, fair warning-Red and Green (mostly Red) have personalities that I gave to them so they act pretty out of character. Despite that, it's a fun narrative of the team's journey loosely following the plot of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen versions with some anime canon, and I think you'll like it. The deed is done...the final RWBY Reader Insert of the set with Pyrrha Nikos herself! I'm just going to get this out of the way now. Yes, My OC is paired with Ruby, No this is not the only reason my OC exists. My art, MY RULES. Enough said. With a lot of the stories I've seen who create an OC team, the Reader seems to be the only one they focus on, what I'm trying to do is breathe a little more life into my characters and show that they are as much a part of the RWBY-verse as the Reader's character Anyways, after the dance comes the much-anticipated tournament. Yay RWBY fight scenes! While fighting against Team CRDL, Tooth & Nail's final trick comes out to play: Stances Basically, stances are different ways that the Reader's character fights using each mode. So we kick things off with a fight scene (Like RWBY do) and I won't lie, I was getting pumped up just writing this. Then afterwards, the Reader and Pyrrha have a little talk about destiny when suddenly Grimm start attacking, and then we meet the final White Fang Alpha, the Martial Artist. If the Reader had an evil twin, this would be him. Getting up close and personal, this Eagle Faunus loves a challenge and loves it even more when he utterly destroys them. Team Rwby and remnant as awhile now have allies to help fight this new evil, but as the tails of old go, there is never a straight path to a happy ending. It must be earned.
