Have you BEEN a massive serpent fighting dragons, wyverns, soldiers, and more?
No.
But the very beast in this story certainly is.
All they've known is the stone cold colosseum walls, the sand digging into the grooves between their scales, the bars of the massive cage they reside within, the moist darkness of their living quarters, the spectators screeching cheers when they won, the boos when they lost, the few bits of leftovers thrown into the colosseum and scrambling to get that tiny bit of food that could last them a minute longer, and the laughing of the very queen overseeing the entire thing. The one who caused them to be here- To forget what nature was and only know violence.
The one who silenced them and stole what could've- And, in their opinion, SHOULD'VE been- their life.
This wyrm is a silent, misunderstood, and only trained in the ways of fighting for their miserable life. And they may never leave this damned place till their inevitable death, and another oh-so-great champion takes their place.
But maybe, even if they cant taste whatever "freedom" is,
They can have a chance to tell their story.
A story of pained isolation smothered by silent violence.

His tongue was like a snakes tongue. He licked my neck. I was crying. He hissed in my ear before he talked. "I'll make a deal with you little human. I will let you live. IF. You belong only to me. I will come visit you every night and leave before the sun rises." I stared at him. Belong only to him? I wouldn't have a boyfriend. Would he make me do things I didn't want to do? Would he get mad one day and eat me? But I couldn't think about that right now. It was either this or die. I sighed so I could speak clearly. "Yes." One night, a creature snuck into Sammy's bedroom. Instead of choosing to eat her, he offers her a once in a lifetime opportunity. Sammy's life has been going downhill since her father's passing. They discover they possess elemental powers, and master the art of Spinjitzu to combat the Serpentine threat, although Y/n has not unlocked said elemental powers, yet. * * * All your life you knew the Brookstones.(IK that's not their real last name, but it sounds better then 'Bucket', soooo) and for the longest time, the Brookstones son, Cole was your best friend. And what felt like forever, you had a crush on him, but you didn't want to tell him, out of fear he didn't feel the same way. (In this story, when Cole goes away he isn't found by Sensei Wu till after you.) When one day, you went over to his house, and his Dad said that he had gone away to the Marty Oppenheimer School of the Art's, which didn't sound right. After a few months, weird stuff started happening to you. One day, you were approached by an old man, claiming that you were an Elemental master, and that you needed to train to be a ninja. At first you were sceptical, but after some thought, you went with him. After about a month, the man said he wanted you to meet some other people like you. You didn't know what you expected, but you didn't expect Cole to be one of the people you were to meet.
