A few hours before Haibara and Nanami went on a mission, he had expressed to the blonde how he was going to confess to Y/n that morning before sadly losing his life. Since that day, Nanami decided two things; One, he decided he wouldn't return to Jujitsu High to become a sorcerer, and two; he would never try to pursuit any type of romantic love interests with Y/n, out of respect for his late friend.
