Don Quijote de la Mancha, escrito por Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, es una obra 
maestra de la literatura que ha influido en generaciones de escritores y lectores. La novela sigue 
las aventuras de un hidalgo llamado Alonso Quijano, quien enloquece después de leer 
demasiados libros de caballerías y decide convertirse en un caballero andante bajo el nombre de 
Don Quijote. Está basado en la locura y aventuras de Don Quijote con Rocinante y Sancho Panza. 
Se desarrolla en varias zonas de Castilla, la Mancha las acciones se van dando en forma 
cronológica entre los siglos XVI y XVII o también conocido como el siglo de Oro, porque en esta 
hubo muchas obras literarias importantes hoy en día por ello vivo ejemplo es esta obra. La 
primera parte fue publicada con el nombre "El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha", 
mientras que, la segunda parte con el nombre "El Ingenioso Caballero Don Quijote de la 
Mancha". Se enmarca en el idealismo de Don Quijote y el materialismo de Sancho Panza.
