"How do you know he's not lying?" She asked as her right brow raised.
"His eyes... it doesn't know how to lie," I replied.
"What's with his eyes?" She asked,
"Sincerity." I paused,

Tanya, a sharp-witted and guarded English major, never believed in second chances-especially not when it came to boys who wore confidence like cologne. After being strung along by a guy who still had one foot in his past, she built walls around herself, reinforced by the no-nonsense voices of her fiercely loyal friends.
Then came Sky. Confident. Effortless. And absolutely off-limits.
He was everything Tanya told herself to avoid: popular, persistent, and dangerously charming. But during the school's annual sportsfest, something about him caught her off guard. Maybe it was the way he looked at her like she wasn't just another pretty face in the crowd. Or maybe it was the fact that her friends, usually her protectors, were suddenly too involved in something they wouldn't explain.
There was a deal. A secret. A dare, maybe.
And Tanya was at the center of it, whether she liked it or not.
In a whirlwind of chants, crowds, and quiet glances across the court, Tanya finds herself questioning everything. Because falling for someone is already hard-but falling for someone who might be pretending?
That's a game she swore she'd never play again.

Magulo akong tao.
"Do you feel the same way..?"
