When I Knew I Lost Her [one-shot story]

As we grow up, it is undeniable and inevitable that the unfathomable agony of reality will slowly kill the vibrant colors we once saw as a child. There is so much that we could ever desire, but only the child buried deep in our memory carves the desires of our heart that determines our happiness at the end of the race.

I grew old and those colors faded in a blink of an eye. But only then when I started to realize who I lost along the journey. She was the one that showed me those dreams who slipped through my fingers while holding on to that certain dream we both wished to conquer.
