I had absolutely no one. I needed you more than ever. But you didn't even talk to me properly for years. You abandoned me to find my own path.
You're the one who took advantage of my trust in you to use my invisibility cap to steal from two of the strongest immortals in this universe, with complete disregard for my safety.
You're the one who framed an innocent twelve-year old for your crimes and sent him on a nation-wide hunt for a thief he had already shared bread with, a thief he considered to be his friend.
And every time we've met since then, all we've done is beg you to join us back and all you've done is attack us, trick us and hurt us. All you have done is manipulate me, use me as bait!

Just a sneek-peak into one of the most intense scenes we missed in the books, when Luke meets Annabeth under the flag of truce. I'm pretty sure you'll find the rest of the book just as intense and heart-breaking as this one.
The scene is set just before the camp commences in the summer the Battle of the Labyrinth took place. Stays true to the book as much as possible, with a lot of added details.

Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul.
