Ashley is your average girl from Shiganshina. Well, was average. She used to have a happy and wonderful life consisting of a happy adoptive mother, Rose, and a kind loving adoptive father, Matt. But that all ended when the Colossal Titan broke threw Shiganshina and her mom was killed instantly by a huge gust of wind hitting a nearby house whilst delivering supplies and her father was eaten by a Titan trying to save her. But that was all in the past. This young girl had set her mind to killing all the Titans out there and freeing humanity from inside these walls. Making a few friends in the trainee camp, she holds a secret that she vows her life on never telling anyone about. That is, until she finds out her Corporals background story and may just have the will to tell him. But, with his cold expression and commitment to the Scouting Legion and Erwin, can she really trust him?

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. Another thing I wanted to point out is that I know that the scouts didn't live in the abandoned castle until after they got Eren in the Survey Corps however I set the story there the majority of the time since I have no clue where they lived before and this is my story so I'll do what I want XD. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut.
