Calla Sweet is smart, lazy, reasonably kind, but most of the time has a sarcastic remark at the tip of her tounge, is a witch, and new in town.

Calla is a 17 year old girl trying her best not to curse the schools Queen Bitch and pass Algebra II

Austin Mystic is sporty, a witch (occasional wizard) hunter, smart enough, and a virgin (what a loser).

Austin has been raised to hate witches ever since they killed his father.

One day, he catches Calla using her magic, and has made it his goal to kill her, her family and everything she holds dear.

But everything changes when he finds out his own sister, Luna, is a witch. Everything Austin's been taught about witches and anything magical is totally and completely wrong, and he finds himself loosing part of his brain to insanity when he finds out he might like the very thing he was raised to hate and kill.
