Team Zoe, led by Gaara the Kazekage and his siblings, and their senseis, has finally completed its trip to Stone Village, despite numerous setbacks and a detour to a few unexpected places.

They thought they were finished, but the ever stubborn Cloud Village has actually extended them an invitation to visit it.

The team is dubious about whether it's a wise plan, since they still have Sasuke Uchiha, the Cloud's most hated Leaf, and his old team, Karin, Suigetsu, and Jugo, in their party.
But they press onward to Cloud anyway, and little do they know that they're about to uncover far more than they ever bargained for.
Meanwhile in Cloud, Mabui, the humble assistant to Lord Ay, the Raikage (and the one person they saved from the Ten Tails attack) has been preparing for their arrival. While she'll be held responsible for how their visit goes off, is there another reason Ay has assigned her to them? And is she someone they can trust?

In the World of Ninjas, Gaara of Sand is about to have an otherworldy encounter. With hero students! *** World Walkers Shine and Wally have been on the same mission for almost a year now, when out of nowhere they get a summons to go on some sort of side mission--with their new mentees, Momo, Shoto, Bakugo, Camie, and even Dabi. But the world they get sent to seems to be a strange world with people unlike anything they've seen before, even with the help of their intrepid hero friends, it's looking like success will be difficult. First to meet them are the rough Sand Siblings: Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro, who think they are there to assassinate someone, and are already on their guard. Then they hear about these Leaf Nina, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke, and it seems their mission is about to get lot more complicated. (This fic starts off in the Sasuke retrieval arc and continues through the War arc, and then into noncanon territory. If you like new characters, crossover hijinks, and shipping [including rare pairs) topped off with deep diving into the characters and world, then I'd say this will be your type of story. They survived the Mist, but now the team of rag tag hero students, ninjas and whatever the 3 adults are is facing a new challenge, and this one will test all of their courage to the breaking point... *** Gaara's peace cohort, now known as Team Zoe, are making their way to Iwakagure, or Stone Village. After the success of their last Village visit, the team (composed now of the Sand Siblings, the DJs, Team 10, Team 7 including Sai, Hinata Hyuga, Tenten. And the heroes Todoroki, Yaoyorozo, Bakugo,and Camie, the villain Dabi, and adding Hanabi Hyuga [and Rock Lee]) is in a good mood, but, Stone Village throws them a lot of unexpected curve balls, and throws some other things at them also. While things heat up on the political front, the team's internal relationships continue to either fray, or deepen as they spend more time together. Sasuke is still there, but his war with himself gets only more and more intense as he continues to consider if his place is even with Team Zoe, or if he should strike out alone again. And is his bond with Naruto and Sakura changing? Shine and Wally sprinkle all this with a healthy dose of teaching and funny anecdotes as they try to keep a group of 20 teenagers from tearing each other, and the shinobi villages, apart. What happens when you take 4 hero students, one ex-villain, two aliens, and over 15 ninjas, and throw them all together on a weeks long road trip through their enemies territory? *** The 4th Great Shinobi War has ended, and Gaara is starting to wonder how the nations will maintain their fragile peace without a common enemy. He's devised a plan to go on a diplomatic tour of the shinobi world, and try to establish strong bonds with each village, and Mist Village is his first stop. Joining Gaara and his two ever loyal siblings, Temari and Kankuro, will be the Leaf Shinobi, Naruto, Shikamaru, Ino, Tenten, Hinata, Neji, and surprisingly, Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke isn't really going for the mission though, he's been persuaded to join them by Gaara's new, out of this world teacher, Shine Likstar, and her partner Wally West, and their current hero trainees, Momo, Shoto, Dabi--and now joining them: Bakugo and Camie. They all don't start off on the best foot, and Gaara wonders how they'll make it to Mist without killing each other. Along the way the group runs into Sasuek's old Team Taka, and makes some detours into creepy lairs, all the while trying not to drive each other insane with their crazy hijinks and culture clashes. Not to mention past trauma. But things may heat up when they actually reach Mist Village and find more than they bargained for. [This story is a sort of spin off of the canon story line, and picks up where my shorter retelling of the first show in "New Way of Ninja" leaves off. Read that book first if you want to know how these characters know each other. Otherwise if you just want to jump right in and figure it out, I respect that approach too. This should be a lot of fun. The story is styled to be more Slice of Life/Action, but they'll be ships, funny situations, and angst and drama in plenty for all of you who like a little spiciness with your friendship stories. Promises to be a deep dive.
