The sun has scorched the Earth and a deadly plague now haunts the desolate cities left behind. In hopes of finding a cure, W.C.K.D created The Mazes.

Each Maze worked as a trial, to test the new generation and to separate the weak from the immune. And Florence was one of the first.

She'd spent the last 3 years in The Glade, having spent the first month entirely alone. But now, with their colony growing, Florence holds the responsibility of much more than just herself.

Especially when Thomas, the newest greenie, triggers a pattern of changes. For better or for worse.
