Twenty-five years ago, Elias Zwarteveen unwillingly turned into a bogeyman. Desperate for a way to reverse the transformation, he'd like to meet another one of his kind.
His girlfriend's seven-year-old has it on good authority that the janitor's closet in his school harbors another bogeyman and proposes to investigate.
"Not before I can discuss with your mom," Elias warns him, but do kids ever listen? Well, this one doesn't.

'Elementary, Elias!' is A '7 Nights with the Bogeyman' spin-off but can be read as a standalone short story.

It's all chill with thrills until the scary stories are based on true incidents! At least all the stories me and my classmates have been sharing do have relevance to reality. But that wouldn't mean my school is haunted! I mean, I did see someone walk pass by me but I couldn't find them when I turned back; and there was definitely no one walking behind me; neither was the door locked in the empty building nor were the students' headcount dropping in thin air. I'm sure there's logical explanation to all of it, right? Our school is obviously not haunted.... Right?
