Vincent Cameron wouldn't necessarily call himself a Kook, despite what everyone says, the kook life never really fit his vibe. And, while the title Kook Prince rested neatly a top of his head, he was anything but. Hell the kid was rarely ever even seen on Figure 8. He preferred to spend his time in the cut, away from all the rich stuck up bastards he was forced to acclimate with. Most days he could be found on the roof of his Uncles house, lying on his back, shades on, and mind wandering. Other days you'd find him running with the pogues, despite his father's clear distaste for his choice of companions.
And that's it, that's Vincent's life, boring and repetitive.
Until it wasn't,
Until his heart started beating faster every time he saw his psychotic blonde best friend. Until every smile, made his stomach flutter and heat up. A constant battle for power. Who will win? JJ or Hailey? I was supposed to be the one holding the reins, but instead, I felt like I was... drowning. He broke me without even trying. {Book 1/2} Growing up in the shadow of her older half brother, John B, would not have been the life Harley would have chosen. But then again, she also wouldn't have chosen to be poor, have a deadbeat Mom, an asshole of a Dad, and she definitely wouldn't have chosen to live in the outerbanks. After being dumped there at age six, Harley learnt quickly, that when you're a pogue, you don't have the best of luck. After being blackmailed by JJ, her brothers annoying best friend, Harley somehow finds herself getting in way over her head on a treasure hunt with John B and his friends, and in the chaos of it all, she finds herself starting to accept the fact that maybe pogue life isn't that bad after all, and maybe a certain blonde headed pogue in particular, wasn't as annoying as she originally thought. For the purpose of this story and the content in it, Harley is sixteen at the start of season 1 and the Pogues/ kooks are aged up by 1 year.
