Für Meine Trauer: For My Grief

This poem was written during a less than happy time of my life, and around that same time I was indulging in the wonderful and dark writing of Edgar Allan Poe. Inspiration from this piece was derived from his own poetry as well as my own melancholic experiences at the time. Somber and regretful are things I felt at the time, and it shows in the word choice I use. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy. This is one of my proudest pieces of writing.
