End of beginning?[Hwang Hyunjin]

(A/n: The pacing of this story might seem slow to some in the first few chapters but it's js deeply detailed and contains a lot of emotional depth. I hope y'all understand and enjoyy)

I shook my head in annoyance. "Just shut up. Shut up. We're here to study not talk, there is no need to talk."

Hyunjin smiled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh there is no need, but I want to. As a classmate, I find you very~ interesting. You've caught everyone's attention already, including mine."

I stared at him, intrigued despite myself. He shrugged, his smile never wavering. "As a classmate of course."

I raised an eyebrow, my voice dripping with sarcasm. "Oh, well I'm sorry but I'm really not interested in you."

Hyunjin's eyes locked onto mine, his gaze intense. "Are you sure?"

I nodded, my voice firm. "Beyond a shadow of a doubt."

Hyunjin's smile grew wider as he leant back, his eyes glinting with challenge, never leaving mine.
