She struggled to make friends because she was forced to remain in homeschool for many reasons, one being that her mother was afraid of how others would view her. With the struggles of poverty and being the "perfect daughter", Leafy faces a lot of challenges throughout her childhood. She never thought she would make any friends until the day her mother forced her to go out and show off her "fancy outfit." She met the handsomest boy of her dreams, and she knew that they would go far. A rich boy and a poor girl, who would've known that it was meant to be.
