The infection spread and mutated till the Earth was overrun by different kinds of hungry human - eating zombies. Vampires aren't the only supernatural creatures. Most of the others have gone into hiding, trying to wait it out. Werewolves, however, are the mortal enemies of vampires. They have formed a guard that protects humans day and night. Decades ago, the world came to a halt as humanity knew it. Wars spurred the worldwide deathrates to a new high, businesses closed, and much of the new technology stopped working altogether. As if life could not get much worse for the surviving humanity that was left, creatures of the night came forth from the shadows, ready to claim what was left of the world's society and kill those who opposed the new regimen. However, all of this was unknown to a young woman you lived with her small family in a quiet town, hidden from the chaos of the outside world. The young woman who lived in this town was called Delilah, and this is her story. Please note that this book is a slow-burn. Yes, there is romance. Yes, like my characters you may be left wanting more. Good stuff takes time, give this book a try. Additionally, I started writing this book while I was fresh out of High School, I am now a junior in college. While the writing was not necessarily bad, it has improved greatly with the more recent chapters.
