Cataleia Nodal is recruited by a strange man from Quiztal, her mother's home country. He gives her secret information which reveals several well-hidden incursions between the island of Alcan and Quiztal---incursions that could break out into a full-scale  war. 

As Cataleia gradually becomes of age, she finds herself drafted into the conflict, partaking in a few small missions. Despite her hesitancy to fight for a country she has limited ties to, she quickly learns the basics of being a functional field agent. However, when her first mission ends in absolute failure, she undergoes a downward spiral for her failure, and for the fact that the conflict between Quiztal and Alcan may be more complex than she realizes.All Rights Reserved
