It has been two years since the defeat of Arktivus Brevon at the hands of Sash Lilac, Carol Tea, and Milla Basset. The planet of Avalice is at peace, and yet Lord Brevon's shadow still clings to this planet like a dying cancer, striking fear into the hearts of those who believe he may one day return. The capital lands of Shang-Tu, Shuigang, and Shang-Mu have created a weary peace treaty in the hopes of healing the scars caused by the Invasion. Supplies from Shang-Mu and Shang-Tu have been routed to Shuigang to aid the newly crowned King in repairing his home. Shuigang is not my place of residence anymore, but it still holds a special place in my heart. It was my home, and so I must aid it however I can.
A group of Spectrum Chasers, the faction rebelling against Lord Brevon, have decided to stay on the planet, inducting Avalice into the Spectrum Chaser Corps.
However, all is not as well as it seems. Spectrum Chaser engineers and data analysts have come to Shang-Tu with worrisome news. Energy waves matching the patterns of slip-space technology (something I have little knowledge of) have been observed within the atmosphere of Avalice. I fear that this may mean that Brevon has returned, or is planning to do so soon. I have brought up my worries with my fellow Royal Guard, Neera-Li. She says that we can only hope for the best and do what we can. I see the wisdom in her words.

I lived in the same pack my whole life. I went off to college, 4 states away three months before I turned 18 and I wasn't required to come back and find my mate. I was so relieved that most of my old classmates don't remember me, not that most of them were Werewolves anyways. There was only about 5 wolves in my class. When I'm back, I somehow find my mate, Greyson Titan and I had just looked up into his eyes as he took his coffee because he had cast a large shadow over my face. I knew about Greyson. The pack says that he is only back for his little brothers wedding then going to be an enforcer again. But staying or going doesn't matter when I pass out for 7 days straight after being given 'vampire' blood. I was a mystery to Greyson, he didn't even remember me from school. I am not scared of him. Most of what is happening to us. I remember that he was the loved football slash baseball slash hockey slash basketball slash track star everyone depended on and of course loved, but he isn't like that anymore. I can tell. He is harder, more like the perfect soldier and he was... the perfect enforcer. I was the shy girl in the back of the class that made sure she didn't get picked on because of her family. And college changed me, but not only did I change then, it looks like I am changing again, and this time more than just my personality. I closed my eyes ready for my death when I heard a very loud and dangerous growl, I swear I felt the ground under me shook by it. I opened my eyes quickly to see what it is, but I couldn't believe my eyes, I just couldn't. even in this state, me crying mess, in pain, this was just like a dream. H-how is that possible? How can there be a Lycan right in front of me? They exist only in fantasy.
