A group of 5 friends meet up in a cafe after playing a VR game called Emberpoint. Meanwhile a scientist who've spent most of their life trying to find a way to merge both worlds together.  AS the friends are still in the cafe, they somehow get teleported to Emberpoint but to them it no longer feels like a game.
