I've read some pretty interesting facts about snakes,
1.Several species of snakes have been discovered that are mostly scaleless, but even those have scales on their bellies.
2. Pit vipers, boa constrictors, and pythons can sense heat.
3.Snakes do not hibernate but enter a state of reduced metabolic rate called BRUMATION during cooler weather periods.
4. Snakes only eat 6-30 meals a year.

This leads me to my next point, I don't wanna be among the 6-30 meals per year. I'm too ugly to die young. This is why I decided to turn on my flashlight. And in case you were wondering, no, I haven't seen a snake.... yet.
