Marshadows like to stay hidden from people and are usually very shy and secretive. The one who would become Mel Takahashi is anything but that.
Alola, 2017. The young Marshadow finds himself scurrying to find a remedy for his sick mother. He would constantly, whether accidentally or not, show himself in front of many trainers, inadvertently proving that his species is more than a myth.
One day, he follows a human he feels is attracting him, but he doesn't know that he'd be stuck with that human forever.
