The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage. Cathleen was adopted by Bruce Wayne the following week, now, it's time for her new life to begin. I own story line. Don't be haters!

Bruce Wayne doesn't hesitate to take them in, but Ria's mistrust of them leads to tension in the house. Her powers are dangerous, volatile and no matter how hard Tim tries, he can't get her to open up to him. As Ria's shadowed past slowly catches up with her, the Bat Family finally realizes that they have no idea what kind of forces they're dealing with.
