This book is a spin-off of my first book, *Damsel in Distress*.
If you are a DID reader, welcome back!
If you are new here, check out my first book (you will love it) before reading this. Otherwise, it might be a bit confusing. However, if you are okay with missing pieces and are just here for a fun read, go on, be my guest.
Zeeshan Obeid Othman is your typical workaholic businessman who doesn't have a life outside of work. Don't worry, he isn't grumpy and actually has a fun side that only comes out when he is with his cousins (he doesn't have many friends). Zeeshan is afraid of his father, who is all about parampara, pratishtha, and anushasan (tradition, prestige, and discipline). He is known for being his father's disciplined, well-mannered, and hardworking son. His only ambition in life is to be more successful than he was yesterday.
Sarah Ahmed is the only daughter of her millionaire father, Haider Ahmed. She owns a boutique where she sells modest but fashionable clothes. She's everything Zeeshan is not: lively, bold, outspoken, and friendly. Her father wants her to get married, but she has been rejecting proposals left and right. Apparently, Sarah's standards are too high, or perhaps getting married is not her priority at all.
The Ahmeds and the Othmans are good family friends and business partners. Now they want to take their friendship and partnership one step further by getting Zeeshan Obeid Othman married to Sarah Ahmed. On the surface, they seem like a perfect match, but Ms. Ribbons (Sarah Ahmed) has a grudge against Mr. Suit and tie(Zeeshan). She dislikes him and never misses a chance to criticize him, and Zeeshan is irked by her judgments and doesn't want anything to do with her.
So, let's see how Ms. Ribbons versus Mr. Suit and tie turns into Ms. Ribbons weds Mr. Suit and tie.
