𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 does not believe in second chances. Not with people. Not with love. Not even with herself. Since her husband's death, she has drowned her feelings in wine and work. Same drink, same restaurant, same routine. Until one day she notices a younger woman and hires her on a whim, telling herself it is nothing more than company. 𝐍𝐨𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 does not have time to fall for someone. She is too busy holding down her job, keeping her sick mother afloat while sinking herself. When she is offered the chance to become a private chef for double the pay, she takes it, telling herself it is just work. Just friendship. Nothing more. It is about how some things leave, yes. But some things stay, even when you're sure they shouldn't.
METAMORPHOSIS
If you have to take drastic action to solve a problem, you have to do something basic and extreme to solve it. **** The scientific term metamorphosis isn't something that pertains to physical change alone. It goes deeper than that. "Like how deep?" You might be wondering. Well, it can go in immensely deep. To the point were...A person. One you've grown to know right from childhood. For practically ALL YOUR LIFE. Probably as well as the back of your hand. To seem...entirely different! From what they used to be. Or rather, who you thought they truly were. Then again! I believe it only goes to show us the full spectrum of human behavior. It reveals something quietly laiden within ourselves. Our TRUE selves. So reason deeply, and tell me, What do you believe? **** "Er..I believe that...the term, holds a certain kind of eminence. N'that, whomever we are, be us young or old, everyone, everywhere! is susceptible to equal, unparalleled change! Besides, don't the most beautiful things come from the most unlikely places?" **** Everyone has their own views and opinions. Still, they all seem to forget the most important thing. They forget that CHANGES can be for good, AND for bad. It can bring the beautiful AND the ugly. It can pave a path of light OR darkness. Just because a chrysalis is breaking open, that doesn't mean a magical butterfly is gonna come fluttering out! These people FORGET! That moths? They go through the same stages too. But you? Do you believe people do change? Or are you under the impression that they don't? Or...is it the changes people can go through that is hard to believe?
