Ending The Pain

Shay comes from a home where she is abused. Her dad, Kev, is an alcoholic, and her mom is the only person who she can relate to. Shay and her mom, Laura, are scared for their life, as the father keeps throwing stuff and breaking stuff. Shay is a social outcast, and has a few good friends. She has had a crush on one of the popular guys, Blake, and the only other person who knows that she likes him, is her ex-best friend, Eden. Eden is now one of the most popular girls at school. Shay has been bullied ever since the 1st grade, and she hasn't done anything about it. She never talked to anyone about what she was feeling, she just kept it all inside her. Until one day when they are at the store, a store that everyone at school goes to, Kev and Laura get into an argument. As they keep yelling at eachother, Kev became increasingly angry. By this time, everyone is looking at them. Shay looks around and sees the popular girls all together, and then she looks behind her and sees her best friends (Tori, Blakey, and Gavin), and then the new kid from school. Kev’s booming voice brought her back to reality and when she turns around, she sees Laura try to walk away, only to have Kev turn her around and punch her. Shay screams at him and then takes Laura and they run out of the store. They go to Shay's brothers house. Her brother, Jericho, lets them stay with him until they can get back on their feet. But as Shay is beginning to find out, Jericho is different. He isn't like he was when she was little. Jericho and Shay begin to have little arguments. What happens when one of them say that they are done? Where will they end up going? What will happen with Kev? What will her friends think of her? Will she ever have her life the same way?
