Durga's Ascension to Godhood
Under the Supreme rule of the Christian God, everyone lives by His word. Will one sinner rise up and ascend to godhood? Or are we shackled by free will?
A woman who goes by the name of Durga, shoots up a bar called the Raktabija which contains all her friends from the past. One by one, she counts her friends' sins while they party in reckless abandon, but now they've all graduated college. Durga decides to play judge, jury, and executioner in a flashy and deadly move sent through her inner Krsna (darkness) and explode everywhere in tandem with her soul. The Goddess Kali is released as Durga flees from her mortal coil and Durga herself sent to the heavens for Judgement Day, where they review her lovestruck, nihilistic, and gunshot-filled, dark lifeline. Even after a long deliberation about her lifetime and her death, she is sent to hell where she will fulfill her duties as a janitor for Beelzebub.
Kali, who've they've jokingly branded "The Goddess of Shits and Farts", who was once formerly Durga, immediately decides she hates hell because "sinners don't deserve poor working conditions," devises a plan to escape. In hell, she sees her friends and offers to help with their absolution in her quest to escape Christian hell. She works in the gluttony circle, while Glenn, a gay prostitute in life, works in the Lust Division, and Karla works for Pride Corp. They all have reasons to escape, and suddenly, they must work together on a journey of absolution, faith, redemption, love, and forgiveness. Kali undergoes Judgement Day, moves through the seven circles of hell, traverses the world as an undead entity set out for Greece, and ascends to godhood in this modern-day odyssey.
