Tempest Rising

In urban fantasy city Aurelia, where combat sports are the pinnacle of entertainment, Roxanne, with a a self-taught style, began teaching herself self -defence by watching many masters and prodigies on screen, never having an opportunity to spar with anyone or practice her fighting. So, she built her knowledge on mimicking what she saw (her photographic memory helped her do so).

Roxanne's resolve to fight is tested as she confronts prejudice and ridicule from those who believe she doesn't belong in the competitive combat sports world.
