The book illustrated a young boy named Reed got teleported and kidnapped to a Mansion called 'The Mansion of Trials and Trials'. In there, he met a Resident of the Mansion called Puppet and other fellow victims called Wanderers. In the Mansion, Wanderers must participate and overcome five different kinds of trials in order to leave this Mansion safe and sound. During the journey of participating in the trials, Reed met his allies and enemies. For Wanderers, he met a kind and generous person called Levi, who was willing to sacrifice his life to save others and a smart person called Von. For Residents, there was a moving Puppet called Puppet, Mel the mummy, Knock a snake-shaped door handle, and a mysterious man with stitches and his cute fennec fox. By coming across all these people, Reed must build up his greatest bravery, intelligence and will to overcome all the obstacles he faces ahead.
