WARNING( contains spoilers from httyd2). One day Hiccup and Toothless were given a few days off from their chiefing duties on Berk.they were doing stunts through the sky and clouds and everywhere you could imagine. Then the weather turns horrific, they struggle to find land and crash on a island. As they search the island they discover something that could change everything.

(This is my first story so if there is anything I can improve on please let me know in the comments, also the story gets better when you get into it more so plz don't be too harsh lol)

But despite their lives being close to perfect, neither of them could shake the feeling of missing each other. So Astrid came up with an idea. Hiccup and Toothless could catch up while they go away for a couple of days. Both Berk and the Hidden World would be looked after well by their leaders wives. Hiccup and Toothless thought it was a great idea, so they accepted. And there was no doubt they were excited. But what would happen if they were caught in a terrible storm and crashlanded onto an island? With Toothless' self-working prosthetic tail broken, they needed supplies to fix it. I got the idea for this story after reading @Night-FuryDreamer story Night Fury Venom and Night Fury Wrath. I am putting my own spin on the story itself because I have a new idea on where the story could go but if you want to read two EXTREMELY AMAZING STORIES I recommend you go check them out because honestly they are two of the best works of HTTYD fanfic that I've ever read. They top any of the ideas I've ever had. This story follows the journey of Hiccup as he discovers that his mere existence is thanks to two deities who were using him to keep the balance. What they didn't expect was that his role in the balance was flawed until the truth of who he is, is revealed allowing dark forces to grow in strength.
