At the heart of the story is Maya Alvarez, a creative and introspective student with a passion for writing poetry. Maya's life is far from simple; she grapples with feelings of abandonment after her mother walked out on her family, leaving her to be raised by their loving but often overworked father, James. The arrival of Liam Parker, a transfer student from a different school, adds a new dynamic to the group. Liam's transfer to Shoreline High, driven by his desire to pursue a fresh start and his connection with Marcus from club basketball, intertwines his fate with Maya's in unexpected ways. Uncharted Highs is a poignant exploration of friendship, love, and the trials of growing up. It captures the essence of youthful ambition and the uncharted paths each character must navigate to discover who they truly are. Through laughter, heartache, and triumph, they learn valuable life lessons and find strength in their bonds with one another.

Cover by @justablip Spinoff to "Love Has No Labels" Cassie Phillips is a troubled junior at Forest Hills High School, who's been bullied, pushed, kicked on, and shoved since freshman year. She's clearly hurting, and her torment has affected her life, schoolwork, and family. Ironically, she has yet to say anything to anyone about her misery. Drew Fernandez is the new student at Forest Hills High from Brooklyn, escaping a troubled past himself. His brazen, rebel attitude along with his shoulder tattoo has attracted all the girls alike. But much to their dismay, it's Cassie that attracts him. Eventually, they meet and grow into a close friendship, which makes the bullying worse for Cassie, one of the reasons being that she is biracial with African-American and White ancestry while Drew is white Hispanic. As Cassie reaches her breaking point, can Drew save her before it's too late?
