"Nurse, I need some help." I turn to the man and furrow my eyebrows once more.
"I'm not a nurse." He just nods.
"Where can I find a nurse?" I shake my head.
"Now? Probably no where. It's slim pickens out there. Most people are gone now." He stiffens a bit as he looks scared at my words.
"Gone? What do you mean?" I put my gun back in its holster and shrug.
"Dead. Once the dead started walking again, most people started getting picked off. It was fast. No one believed the news, so they didn't stay at home."

We've all thought about it. The apocalypse. Of course we have. Some believe it's inevitable. Some believe it'll never happen. Some believe were doomed and others that the military would stop it before it could actually ever get bad. It's normal to think about the end of the world. Because if the world never ends what the point of it beginning in the first place right? Well I thought about it. A lot. Never thought It would happen in my lifetime though. Then it did. And turns out, the military really couldn't handle it and its not nearly as cool as it seems Sorry if it's not that great. This is my first real story with a plan, a laptop and an actual goal. Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it.
