Tessie Lewis and A.M Stoneheart have been friends for quite awhile. Ever since the end of the Revolution---a big event that is significant to this AU---they've been enemies, and then they were friends.
It's Tessie's (mentally) 20th birthday, and A.M wants to confess to her there. But he doesn't know how to do it. The only people who he told was his energetic sister, Preacher, and his laid-back brother, Six, who are giving him advice on how to be a good boyfriend. He's doubtful if his friend will like him, due to him being an Alternate and her being a human. Or used to, considering she's dead and literally a ghost.
But is there a difference that will lead to them being able to find their mischievous love?
