The Alter (A Phighting AU story)

In a world where the boundaries between light and darkness are blurred, a demon unlike any other was born. Risen from the depths of The Spawn, this demon was gifted with the ability to heal, but also cursed with a plague of corruption that would change the course of her life and her abilities forever. As she struggles with the predicaments of her powers, she is forced to deal with the gradual, yet painful transformation of her body and changes in her personality, as the curse slowly takes over her as she ages. Desperate to learn more about her curse, she attempts to seeks answers in the unlikeliest of places she was assigned to, Blackrock. A region of science and innovation, which she takes advantage of due to sharing similar interests. She ends up working for Blackrock as a scientist in hopes to find answers through experiments, but it wasn't until a project that would make an impact for not only Blackrock, but her own fate, resulting in a chain of events that will determine the very foundations of The Inphinity and even relations amongst other Phighters. Prepare to enter a world where power and technology collide, and the fate of everything hangs in the hands of The Alter.
