Unknowingly, he is trapped in a constant loop of searching for exits, looping whenever he dies in a space or to [ - ]'s own hands.

Will "RUI" managed to escape this hellhole, or will [ - ] get his way and never allow the other to go? Though, he doesn't mind if he really escapes. Or does he?

(Small spoiler) Yet even after understanding human emotions with the help of rui..tsukasa is still bound to this mortal realm meaning he's mortality is no different from others..and when time comes he may face that fact yet rui can't accept it no tsukasa is not a gift from the gods but a lab rat made for the gods pleasure and enjoyment as they laugh at humanity. This was because of the Old Debacle, as the merfolk called it. It was a war between the sorcerers and the merpeople.
