At exactly September 23, 1972 at 7:17 pm, President Ferdinand Marcos adressed  to the public that he had signed the Proclamation No. 1081 at September 21, 1972. This led to the 14-year period of authoritarian rule. 1972 is the date that all filipinos remember in their hearts and in their culture. (Iam not pro or anti Marcos but Iam just stating my personal opinions about it)
